The Road to Financial Freedom - My Forex Career
At a young age, I began to write my memoirs.
Since it is a memoir, let's start from birth.
The day I was born, I almost died! What happened that day affected my life! Cause: When I was born, I didn't cry. I was born at home and delivered by people from the village health center. I have no experience, and children usually cry immediately when they are born, but I didn't cry, so they panicked, and they panicked and pinched my mouth, which caused me to not be able to open my mouth since I was a child. When I was a little older, I went to Shanghai for diagnosis at the age of 4 or 5. It was said that the jaw joint was stiff. Now that I recall, when I was young, most of the food was stuffed into the gap between the upper and lower jaws. I still remember when I was a child, in the third or fourth grade, I ate snacks during class, and I ate bread. I used my fingers to put the bread in between the teeth that happened to drop a tooth, and next to it was the first girl I liked in my life. She looked at me with a smile. The child was relatively simple, maybe not malicious, but the picture was still fresh in my memory.
Because it is difficult to eat, I have been very thin since I was a child. I like to eat soup when I eat, and I like to eat bread and noodles, which are easy to digest. Because I can't chew, the burden on my stomach may be heavier, and the spleen and stomach are not very good. I have not been very good until now. I have been sickly since I was a child, and I am as thin as a matchstick, so my nickname, Matchstick, has been with me throughout my childhood.
Thinking about it now, I'm really tenacious, I can't die like this!
Childhood was so miserable, because the joints were stiff, the mouth was crooked, and there were nicknames like crooked mouth throughout childhood. Even if it was corrected by surgery in the fifth grade, the left and right faces were still very asymmetrical.
Because he had been in the strange eyes of others since he was a child, he had created his own stubborn and stubborn personality, but he had never had low self-esteem. Life was so wonderful. It gave you a thin figure, but achieved a strong character. Also, if you have low self-esteem or something, it is estimated that you will not be able to survive, and the fittest will survive.
Childhood memories are over.
When I was a teenager, there were 2 stages, junior high school and high school. It was a completely different life. Although I had good academic performance in primary school, I just caught up with the fucking Education Bureau to set up places in key middle schools, instead of competing according to the grades in the city. Our grades in primary school were not good before, but our tough class only had 3 places in key middle schools. So I remember that it seemed to be a total score of 200, got 191.5 points, and entered the second-rate middle school next to my family. Misfortune and misfortune depend on each other. Although I entered a second-rate school, I felt that those 3 years were much better than the 3 years in the key middle school in high school. In junior high school, most of the time I was in the top of the class, and I had a share of competitions and prizes. So I think junior high school is still good.
I don't like high school very much. Because of my good academic performance in junior high school, I was sent to a key middle school. Looking back now, it is estimated that our class should have been the children of the head of the Education Bureau, with poor academic performance.
High school, because it was a key middle school in the province, gathered the elites of the whole city, so life was not so good. Although I still studied hard, it was not as easy as junior high school. As long as I was willing to study, I could get into the top three. Plus adolescence, communication problems with parents, depressed three years. Full of unpleasantness.
After three years of high school, I went to college. Because my studies were not very ideal, I was no longer at the top, so I was admitted to a science and engineering university in Shanghai. I have to say that life is really amazing. At that time, I just filled in the blank on the voluntary application book for this university, and I didn't really go to this university. I had no interest in machinery at all~~~
So, in the next 4 years, I was in college for 4 years, and I didn't have the enthusiasm to study as a child at all. I passed through these 4 years in a daze. Really, after 4 years, I graduated by ignorance, except for teaching myself the ability to repair computers. But I didn't expect that the ability to repair computers would allow me to support my life for the next 10 years.
After graduating from college, my heart is very wild.
I just graduated from college, because of professional problems and machinery, I didn't want to develop in this field at all, so I was looking for a job casually. Speaking of which, I was also quite cunning, because at that time, as long as I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree, I could stay in Shanghai after signing the job and signing the hukou. So I found a job and started working first. XX Technology Company, I originally thought that the company's network department recruited people to do company computer maintenance or something, but later I went in and found out that this was not the case, but to do sales. Originally, I was looking for people to do network product sales. The company probably wanted to expand its product line and represent Shida's network product sales. Later, this piece still couldn't be done, and then I was transferred to do printer sales. The company stayed for 3 months, and when the probation period ended, it was about to turn positive and resigned. Because the original intention is just to find a springboard to sign the contract, so that the hukou can stay in Shanghai.
Looking back now, I still learned a lot from this first job in my life. I was still quite introverted since I was a child, and doing the most frustrating job in sales greatly honed the thickness of my skin, and the increase in the thickness of my skin was proportional to the thickness of the soles. Speaking of which, in those 3 months, I smoothed the heel of a pair of leather shoes. Haha, I just graduated and am more diligent.
Life is amazing~~~ The next job I saw on a store flyer I picked up from the ground when I was sent to the company's Pacific store for an internship. An Internet cafe was recruiting technicians, including food and housing. To be honest, it was that package that attracted me. I just graduated with no money, and I even posted some money for my first job. If my parents hadn't sent my brother to study in Hefei, passed through Shanghai to see me, and supported me with 3,000, I would have been living on the streets.
Then I went for a direct interview with the idea of giving it a try. After graduating from college, I went to an Internet cafe to find a job. I don't know if it was the only one. At first, I didn't want to grow, but I thought that since I could cover food and housing, I could have savings. If I had savings, I could go to Cisco's ccnx training. With Cisco's certificate, it would be easy to find a job as a network administrator in the company. Unexpectedly, I did this for 4 years, until my brother graduated from college and was going to Hong Kong to study for a doctorate. The boss asked me to quit every time I said I wanted to quit, but the boss wouldn't let me go and increased my salary every time. From the first month I got 900, I almost cried, and later I added three gold to add up to about 4,000. When he first arrived at the Internet cafe in 2002, the boss had 1 Internet cafe on hand, and then the scale gradually expanded to 3. It can be said that I witnessed the rapid development and decline of the Internet cafe industry. Around 03 years, I accompanied the boss to collect the Internet cafe certificate, as long as 100,000, the price of cabbage, and then around 08 years, what price, 1.2 million, sky-high price!
To be honest, the past few years of living in Internet cafes have completely overturned the previous thinking. In the past, I just wanted to get a certificate and then become a company network manager, mix with a small white-collar, and live a life. But after seeing certain things, I completely changed my mind. People are really affected by the environment. Let's say my boss, he has no education, and he was also a gangster when he was young. Later, Shanghai opened up taxis. He applied for a taxi license, started driving taxis, and then drove a small ktv. Later, seeing that his son always likes to run to game halls, he simply opened a game arcade by himself, maybe saving some money. Later, I heard from his sister that he was cheated into gambling, lost a lot of money, and then used the remaining 500,000 to open an Internet cafe with 80 computers around 2000, and started to make a fortune with this. At that time, the Internet cafe business was very good, and the investment was recovered in 8 months, and then continued to invest. When I helped him work part-time in 2002, he only had 1 Internet cafe, a computer in his early 100, and then the second and third Internet cafes were opened like this. In 2006, when I was not working under him, his assets were more than ten million yuan. There were 3 Internet cafes, and the license plate was worth 4 million. The house bought two sets of more than 100 square meters each in the inner ring, two cars, and also opened a small hotel and a small bar. Let's see how many assets a worker of the same age can have? If you can have a house, you can mix well. Of course, these are not only problems of working part-time but also related to personal character, ability and luck. The boss is said to be stingy, but I don't quite agree with this view. Why should people be generous to irrelevant people and generous to their families? He still has advantages worth learning, that is, he is capable, he can do whatever he says and does, and he does not procrastinate. He is still very diligent and stingy towards his employees.
In 2005, it should have been the year before my brother graduated. My brother came to Shanghai in his senior year, preparing to take the postgraduate exam at a certain university in Shanghai. At that time, I was dealing with foreign exchange. It should have been that year that GAIN Company was doing an overwhelming amount of advertising, and it also set up an office in Shanghai, planning to engage in retail foreign exchange transactions in the mainland with great fanfare. I remember that year I went to Hong Kong Plaza to watch their report.
In foreign exchange, almost all beginners will win. Beginners will make money during the period when they first come into contact with foreign exchange. Why, I don't know, probably because they are relatively simple when they first come into contact with foreign exchange, they know how to buy when they go up and sell when they go down, and they don't know what technical analysis and fundamental analysis are. In short, I made about 10% from doing simulation discs, so I hurriedly took the money to deposit. That year, the RMB exchange rate was still around 8:00, on the eve of the RMB appreciation.
When I first came into contact with foreign exchange, I didn't have so many things in my mind. I only knew that the K line went up and down. At that time, I used the Jiasheng platform and the java version of the webpage to place orders. I didn't have so many analysis tools. At most, I drew a trend line or something. At the beginning, there were losses and profits, and the highest profit seemed to be 10%. Then it didn't work. I felt that the market was always right with you. As soon as you bought it, it fell, and as soon as you sold it, it went up and down, and I lost hundreds. At that time, I knew I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't do it, so I stopped trading and started frantically collecting data to learn about foreign exchange. What technical analysis and fundamental analysis, as long as I thought it would be helpful, the craziest thing was that in order to learn the fundamentals, I used my brain to take the graduate exam of the University
From 2006 to 2011, this period of entrepreneurial experience strengthened my determination to continue foreign exchange trading. Why? 1 I have been in business on my own, so I know the hardships of entrepreneurship. 2 After so many years, I really know that my personality is not business material, I can't handle complex interpersonal relationships, I don't brag about my ability to shoot horses, I don't touch tobacco or alcohol, and it is difficult to develop business. I was able to expand business only because of word-of-mouth. Moreover, the competition in online maintenance is fierce, and the price war is getting fiercer and fiercer, and the cost performance is too low. And after so many years in Shanghai, other achievements have not been achieved. Finally, a set of affordable housing has been obtained in the hands of the Shanghai Municipal Government, which can be stabilized. So at the end of 2011, I basically lost my online maintenance business and started working full-time in foreign exchange in December.
In December 2011, I did something I wanted to do for a long time: learn MQL4 language. I wanted to learn it for a long time, but I always gave myself excuses, so when I was basically doing foreign exchange in December, I got started in 3 days, and I was able to write basic EA, and I also did a few historical data tests to make a profitable EA. But these EA's are not the ideal EA in my heart. The ideal EA should be able to get out of such a stable capital curve as Tim, the second German in the EA competition in 2011, wrote.
Although it was not satisfactory, in the last month of 2011, I was inspired by an indicator written by a Russian and wrote an indicator. I remember the night after writing this indicator, I was so excited that I couldn't fall asleep. Even if I finally fell asleep in a daze, I dreamed of flying K-line charts in the sky. I didn't have enough concentration~~~ Why was I so excited. After writing this EA, I applied it to various currency pairs. The trend was very clear, and I could judge the trend at a glance, so I said to myself: I'm finally going to get rich~~~ As a friend said, if I had a wife, I would definitely shake her up to share the excitement of this moment.
Then in the days to come, using this indicator to trade, although it was not as smooth as imagined, the next path was already very clear. The trading system has also been established, and all it takes is time to verify. If this fails, he can only leave after half a year.
1 [High Odds Trader] Marcel Link, this book basically covers all aspects of foreign exchange trading, and I think this book is a must-read. If you want to train yourself to become a stable and profitable trader, this book is a must-read, at least it will save you a lot of detours. This book needs to be read carefully. Many things need to be memorized and entered into the brain as instincts.
2 How I Made 2 million in the Stock Market, by Nicolas Darvas This book proposes the box theory. Based on the box theory, I wrote an indicator in mt4 to enable the box theory to be quantified, thus building my own trading system. This book is also a must-read for me.
3 Securities Chaos - A Guide to Low-Risk Profits]. Trading. Chaos. Bill Williams, this book has a lot of basic ideas about the market that benefited me a lot.
The above three books, the order of my exposure is actually reversed. But in fact, the order of reading I recommend should be like this 123. There is also a book, Non-Gambling Trading, also written by Marcel Link, which is worth reading, but has a lot of overlap with his first book. If you are interested, you can also find it.
The book has its own golden house, which is true.
It is better to retreat and form a net, and invest real money into the market. It is better to withdraw from the market and learn and summarize.
Finally, I wish everyone good health and good fortune in the Year of the Dragon~~~
