Finding the "Holy Grail" in Forex Trading

The word "Holy Grail" comes from an important period in Arthurian literature. Whether it is a cup, a plate, a gem or a saucer depends on who describes it. Despite its name, "Holy Grail," it is marvelous but nonexistent.

In foreign exchange trading and most other things, the "holy grail" is used to describe an unattainable goal. Everyone aspires to it, but in the end it is impossible to achieve.

Traders are always on the lookout for the "holy grail". A trading system or strategy can make almost unlimited money, but with low risk and little effort.

Of course, as already said, the "Holy Grail" is unattainable, but there may be ways to get traders close to the "Holy Grail", so how?

reset expectations

The only answer to finding the "Holy Grail" is to change expectations about what the "Holy Grail" represents. The less realistic answer is a trading technique that offers unlimited gains, allowing traders to legally turn a small fortune into a huge one, with little delay or effort.

Given the way the world works, this is clearly not possible, so the solution is to reset your expectations for the "Holy Grail". Maybe the "Holy Grail" is a 20% annual return or a 1% monthly return, or maybe just make enough money from trading to live comfortably.

No matter what it is, you need to be clear about your trading goals before you start trading. It is unwise to pursue endless wealth because it brings problems of greed and over-trading. It is better to manage your expectations and determine your true ideals.

Once you've lowered your expectations, the next step is to start fulfilling them.
