(2) Day traders
Day trading is another short-term trading style where you usually make one trade a day and close the trade by the end of the day. These traders like to start the day on their own and end the day on their own terms, winning or losing. They don't leave their trades overnight.
Day traders are those who have enough time in the day to analyze, execute, and monitor trades. If you think ultra-short-term trading is too fast and swing trading is a bit slow, then day position squaring may be for you.
You can become a day trader if:
You start and close transactions in one day.
At the beginning of the day, you have time to analyze the market and monitor it throughout the day.
You want to know at the end of the day whether you are making a profit or losing.
You cannot become a day trader if:
You prefer long-term or short-term transactions.
You don't have time to analyze the market and monitor its changes throughout the day.
You have to work during the day.
If you want to trade intraday, you need to consider:
Stay up to date on the latest basic events and help you navigate your way
You want to stay on top of the latest economic news so that you can make trading decisions at the beginning of the day.
Do you have time to monitor transactions?
If you have a full-time job, think about how you want to balance your work and trading. Basically... don't get fired for staring at the chart all the time.
