Adhering to the consistency of transactions is the bedrock of profitability
The only thing you use are rules, consistent trading rules, which put you on the big side of the probability game. The so-called consistency is that you follow your own rules at all times, and the market and the outside world do not interfere with you, unless there is a large loss in the rules.
A true trader only cares about two things:
1. What should I do if the market proves that I am right after opening the position;
2. What should I do if the market proves me wrong after opening the position?
Profits do not depend on the winning rate of your predictions, but on "you lose as little as possible when you do wrong, and you earn as much as possible when you do right". This is the biggest difference between traders and analysts.
When you are in a favorable situation, you must be greedy.
When you are at a disadvantage, be afraid.
When your chips are favorable, you have to let the greedy desire amplify as much as possible. Otherwise, you will take huge risks but not get the same huge profits. Only after the close will you know whether it is volatile or unilateral. If you want to consider these issues in trading, many times you will be at a loss. When it is not in line with my market, I lose as little as possible. When it is in line with my market, I earn as much as possible. I never expect to make money in any market.
The principle of trading can be consistent, but the strategy of dealing with the market needs to make some adjustments according to the trend, and there is no cure-all trick. At any time, holding a profit order is the safest trading behavior. You can control losses, but you cannot decide profits. Earnings require the cooperation of the market. Sometimes you need some luck. Doing short-term is not as high as long-term capital management requirements, but the most basic capital control is required. You must ensure that after a period of time after continuous stop-loss, the funds can still open the same position as the original. Otherwise, the loss will be a large order volume, and the profit will be less. This will make it impossible to achieve the growth of capital equity.
Losses are under your control, and profits need the support of the market. Try to control losses when you don't meet your own market, and wait for your market to make a fortune. There is no other way. I will never pursue perfect transactions. My settlement cycle is monthly, not daily. I will never let myself be passive at any time.In any trading model, you need to consider whether this strategy can achieve growth in capital equity over a long period of time, rather than relying on isolated trading days to support yourself.
I don't adjust my approach to a particular market. The only way is to stick to my own rules, no matter how the market goes, keep my bottom line, not all markets should be profitable. There is no good or bad rule, only the degree of adherence. The only thing you can do is to stick to your bottom line and deal with the consistent principle of the order. Profit is not something you can decide. Sometimes you need luck. This is the charm of trading.
The order held has been stopped at the original price. There is no right or wrong, or right, this is the transaction. You should be grateful that you have not lost money at any time! Taking a step back, the volatile market in the past few days, if I had done it every day after leveling it, the result would not be much better than it is now. As long as you don't let the capital trend retract sharply at any time, and at the same time open up profits in your own cycle, the market will reward you sooner or later, maybe not this time. In addition to considering the usual fluctuations of the variety, the setting of stop loss also takes into account your opening habits. If you like to chase orders, the stop loss will be larger, and if you like to pull back the opening stop loss will be smaller.
There is no secret to trading, and even the most profitable trading strategies have long been public and rotten. Being able to resist the temptation to stay true to your beliefs is the only difference between winners and losers, and there are no other secrets. This is trading. Don't always think that the person who makes money has some unique secret to count money behind closed doors. This market has been around for hundreds of years, and any feasible or non-feasible way to make money has long been well researched. You can't find any more, even the slightest bit that your predecessors didn't explore, so don't think you have discovered anything new, it's more of a self-woven trap.
As a friend asked why not squaring at the low position instead of waiting until so much retracement. All I can say is,If you want to position squaring near the best position every time, you will never be able to get the best position squaring position, and stick to your strategy, at least part of the best position will be caught by you, this is the deal! Don't want to always open in the most perfect place, it is impossible to go in a favorable direction every time you open a position, the purpose of stop loss is to give the market a space to run.
If there is a big problem with basic execution, it is difficult to succeed in anything, not just futures. Look at those successful people around you, whether they are part-time workers or entrepreneurs, they definitely have trustworthy execution qualities. This is a survival attitude. Whether it is a strategy or a plan, once it is executed, it must be strictly implemented, because only when you are formulating a strategy off the market can you be relatively objective. Once you are in the market, you lose your rational judgment. At this time, the only way is to execute the established strategy. Make random decisions in the market every day, then all your thousand sacrifices and trading experience will not help you. At this time, there is no difference between a veteran and a novice. What you have paid in the past is in vain, and it is all blind and lucky.
Trading is like this. The market is always tempting you to give up your principles. Giving up opportunities is much more important than grasping opportunities. Don't be demanding when you don't belong to your own market. I never expect to make money in any market. The level of betting on the direction of the market is similar to everyone's. The main difference is who can hold the order. The benefits of holding a profit order are not just the possibility of uncertain violence, but at least the following:
Reduce the number of open positions to reduce overall capital risk.
2. Effective avoidance of funds has been significantly withdrawn.
Stick to your principles. Once the market comes, it's time to harvest.
Just like stop loss, set a level margin for yourself. When the floating profit reaches this range, change the stop loss price to the opening price, in order to protect the principal from loss when pursuing uncertain profits. Most of the time, the opening opportunity you design will definitely appear. What you lack is patience, not strategy, and not technology. For the direction and opening positions, in a sense, everyone is betting. What you have to grasp is the handling of the holdings in your hands, which is the foundation of profitability.
You never know what will happen next, but you must know: what kind of market you will lose after, and what kind of market you will make a profit after. A trader is not trading for a certain day. Even if you maximize profits for the day if you violate the rules, in the long run, you will seriously damage the probability advantage of your rules. If you find that most of the time your direction is good, but you are always stopped because of a flat push, please, don't you know how to amplify the stop loss or flat push? As long as your strategy stands on the high probability and abandons a lot of random trades, it is enough for you to profit. Casino or speculative market, the ultimate profit is a believer in probability!
