Ways to grasp the timing of foreign exchange transactions

The market does not have clear profit opportunities every day. There are clear and vague quotes, and trading operations are correspondingly different from what can and cannot be done. It is wise to act when the market trend shows a clear direction, and avoid forced entry when the trend is unclear.
From the perspective of the overall strategy, it is usually a better choice to follow the trend, that is, to find a pullback low to buy in an uptrend, and to wait for a rebound high to sell in a downtrend. If you intend to perform a reversal operation, you must meet the three aspects of the original trend in terms of morphological structure, proportional relationship and time period, and reach the key reversal position at the same time, and only on the premise of setting a stop loss in advance can you consider entering the market.
When it comes to actual transactions, how to define "lows" and "highs" involves the specific application of technical analysis tools, which can be summarized as follows:
1. Relying on key positions to enter the market, strictly set stops.
In an uptrend, wait patiently for the price to retrace near an important support level to buy, and if the price effectively falls below this support level, stop the loss decisively. Short-term traders can take profits near the upper track of the uptrend channel (but should avoid opening positions in the opposite direction here); in a downtrend, wait for the price to rebound to sell near an important pressure level, and also stop the loss when the price effectively rises above the pressure level. Consider position squaring near the lower track of the downtrend channel (again, it is not recommended to open positions here for a rebound).
2. Enter the market after breaking through the key position.
When the price breaks through an important pressure level upwards, consider following the trend to buy, and if the price falls back below the breakout level again, stop loss. When the price falls below an important support level, consider following the trend to sell, and if the price rises again above the break level, stop loss.
3. Only try to counter the trend at important reversal points
Only when the market runs to a certain reversal signal point at the same time in a large wave pattern, proportional relationship, and time period can one try to trade against the trend, and a stop loss must be set. Although the stop loss range can be appropriately relaxed, it must not be without stop loss protection.
No matter which of the above methods is used, traders need to wait patiently for the best time to enter the market. If the timing is not right, even if they see the general direction of the market, they may face losses. Because market prices do not move in a straight line, any trend is gradually formed in fluctuations, and choosing the wrong entry point will expose traders to unnecessary market fluctuations.
A good start is an important foundation for successful trading. The right moment sometimes needs to be actively found, but more often it depends on patience. During the trading process, staying patient and being able to tolerate market sluggishness are important psychological qualities.
