China's foreign exchange market turnover totaled 21.58 trillion yuan in May

Statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that in May 2023, Chinaforeign exchange market(Excluding foreign currency market, the same below) The total transaction is 21.58 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.09 trillion US dollars). Among them, the bank-to-customer market transaction is 3.27 trillion yuan (equivalent to 470 billion US dollars), the interbank market transaction is 18.31 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.62 trillion US dollars); the spot market transaction is 8.91 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.28 trillion US dollars), and the derivative market transaction is 12.66 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.81 trillion US dollars).

From January to May 2023, China's foreign exchange market accumulated 101.87 trillion yuan (equivalent to 14.79 trillion US dollars).
