The significance of the K-line pagoda indicator for foreign exchange trading

One of the important steps in foreign exchange trading is to analyze the technical aspects. The K-line is a very important trading reference factor, and the pagoda line also has important guiding significance for trading. Due to the different chart periods selected, pagoda line indicators include daily pagoda line indicators, weekly pagoda line indicators, monthly pagoda line indicators, annual pagoda line indicators, and minute pagoda line indicators. Often used in foreign exchange market research and judgment are daily pagoda line indicators and weekly pagoda line indicators. Take the daily pagoda line indicator as an example, its specific drawing method is as follows:

    1. When the exchange rate rises in foreign exchange transactions, it is represented by a white (or red) hollow bar, and when the exchange rate falls, it is represented by a black (or green) solid bar.

    2. Take the closing price of foreign exchange transactions on a certain day as the benchmark price, and plot the rise and fall of the closing price of foreign exchange on the chart in sequence every day.

    3. If the exchange rate rose on a white bar on the previous day and fell on the next day, the part of the exchange rate that did not fall below the low point of the white bar on the previous day is still represented by the white bar, and the part that fell below is represented by the black bar.

    4. If the foreign exchange exchange rate on the previous day was a falling black bar, but rose the next day, the part of the exchange rate that did not rise above the high point of the black bar on the previous day would still be represented by a black bar, and the part that rose would be represented by a white bar.

    5. The future daily market drawing method is analogous.

The characteristics and drawing method of the pagoda line are similar to the point chart. It is not to record the exchange rate movement process of each cycle, but to record when the exchange rate reaches a new high or a new low, which is different from the drawing method of the K line. Since the pagoda line on the current foreign exchange trading technical analysis software is automatically generated by the computer, investors do not need to draw it themselves. Here, the main thing is to understand its calculation process and become familiar with the pagoda line indicator.

Forex trading data analysis is now a lot of trading platforms have been able to achieve. Technical analysis is an important reference factor for investors to make trading plans, but it must not be the only factor.
